Financial:  One of the ways our supporters help empower our students is by helping with the cost of education, through our Support-A-Star Scholarships. This year, the cost of educating one DLS student is calculated at over $12,000. Our families pay what they can -  the average tuition payment is $50 a month or $500 a year”. Through the generous support of individuals, organizations, and foundations, we make up the difference - and the difference that makes for their future opportunities-is nothing short of miraculous! Another way is  through our Graduate Support Program. We commit to supporting our graduates financially through high school, covering a portion of their tuition. Learn more about this program.

Volunteering and Mentoring: Our students benefit  greatly from tutoring, and we are always looking for mentors for our students.  Can you spend some one -on-one time helping a student?  Do you have skills you can share?  For more information on getting involved, call our main office at 314-531-9820.
