Renaissance Enrichment Program
| What is it? | ||
|
The Renaissance Program is a student choice enrichment hour which provides an opportunity to learn a skill, hobby, or trade at the end of the academic day. The program offers students the opportunity for cultural and academic enrichment during the afternoon hours between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The Renaissance courses expand the opportunities for learning available to students in a traditional classroom setting and provide students access to positive adult role models. Renaissance classes are held three days each week – Tuesday through Thursday. They are taught by faculty members and volunteer instructors who bring particular skills to the community. The program is organized and overseen by a staff member who serves principally as the coordinator of our volunteers.
